TUESDAY

Today, depending on where you are, it is Mardi Gras, Pancake Day, Shrove Tuesday, Fat Tuesday, or Dollar Day, but in celebration of Pancake Day I went to the crêperie and had an amazing peach and ice cream crêpe.

I finally have at least one picture posted for each day, though as one can observed the entries are not every complete. The goal is to eventually go back and fill them in as soon as I get brought up to the present... though this will probably happen just in time for me to leave on another vacation at the beginning of April. Time is flying by.

At Gare d'Austerlitz I met my roommate, Becky, and two other Montluçonnais and we took the train back together... playing hangman (in English and French) and other games to pass the time.
I took this picture from the bus on my way towards 'home' from the train station... it is amusing to see a hitchhiker in Montluçon, or technically right outside the city limits of Montluçon, note the sign has a red line going through the city name.

After a night sailing across the Mediterranean, I woke up to the sight of Corsica as the ferry docked in Bastia.

City workers used brooms and leaf blowers to clean up the confetti than was left after a Carnival parade.

Just before midnight we boarded the Corsican Ferries' Mega Express I and began our voyage across the Mediterranean to Bastia.
