The Maison Tavel is the oldest privately owned house in Geneva dating back to the twelfth century. It has been transformed into a museum, which explores the history and daily life of Geneva between the 14th and 19th century.

Underneath the Saint-Pierre Cathedral there was an archeological site; some parts date back to the fourth century.
