SUNDAY
This morning I headed into downtown Oslo and figured out my method of getting to Fredrikstad, which was a city that I had read about before coming, which is located about an hour south-east of Oslo. I decided to catch the 1pm train, so I had a little time to wander Oslo.

Some guys let off a smoke flare as they got off the train. As I walked around Fredrikstad, I learned this was part of a pre-game ritual. The Fredrikstad soccer team had a home game and every so often I saw someone heading towards the stadium wearing a red and white scarf.

The moat, which surrounds the fortress built in the mid-1600s; the area of Fredrikstad that is enclosed within the moat is known as the Old Town.
