FRIDAY
Today I headed southwest from Toulouse to Pau, where Colleen studied aboard in the summer of 2004.

As I neared Pau on the train I saw the Pyrénées off in the distance.

My hotel room in Pau.
My first stop was le Château de Pau, which is where Henri IV of France was born in 1553. I arrived just in time for a free tour of the castle.
