The house where Jean-Baptist Jules Bernadotte (1763-1844) was born is now the Bernadotte Museum. It is full of artifacts and the history of Monsieur Bernadotte as well as Sweden and Norway. Bernadotte served in the French Army, was elected Marshal of France by Napoleon I, and in 1818 became the king of Sweden and Norway.

Used to draw and store maps while in battle.

Umbrella store that probably got some business on this rainy day.

I am not sure exactly what this store sold, it was closed, but unfortunatley they forgot to reference an English dictionary before painting the sign.

Left the Pau train station to go back to Toulouse where I caught a night train to Paris in order to meet my parents on Easter morning.
