Dominique went with me to the sous-préfecture to pick up the residency forms. (We tried to pick up the forms Wednesday morning, though the sous-préfecture was closed to foreigners on Wednesday mornings.)

This is Dominique's office at the Inspection, where I filled out the forms and made the copies of the appropriate documents. In the afternoon, Dominique drove me back to the sous-préfecture to drop off the completed paperwork. Though there is still more waiting involved to applying for une carte de séjour (residency card).
Dominique also drove me to the three elementry schools I will be teaching at and introduced me to the directeur (principal).
