7 octobre 2008, École Jules Ferry and Prémilhat

TUESDAY

Today, I spent the morning at École Jules Ferry.

Jules Ferry was a French political and known for the laws he passed in 1880s which made education in France free, obligatory (from ages 6 to 16), and secular.

After observing at École Jules Ferry in the morning I decided to spend the rest of my day exploring Prémilhat. I technically live in Prémilhat, though I am about a minute walk from the city limits of Montluçon and up until today everytime I left my abode I made a left to head towards Montluçon. Since I had the time I thought I should find out what there was to see if I headed deeper into the town of Prémilhat.

Étang de Sault.
Étang translates to pond, though it was quite big and could easily be eligible for being classified as a lake.
